Squiggs The Artist, a specialist in Micro-realism and Fine Line opened his own studio after only four and a half short years of tattooing. Committed to the craft he spent 10,000+ hours perfecting his skill, participating in international courses and under the mentorship of well known realism and fine line artists.

He spent most of his childhood in his room drawing for hours on end and his creativity didn’t stop there, with a mind constantly focused on creative ideas and being fashion forward he drew inspiration from street culture and fine art.

Before picking up the needle, Squiggs completed his degree in marketing and communications, working in both corporate, property and construction spaces. He still felt the pull toward a more creative career.

“As a child I was told by my own parents not to pursue art as a subject because they couldn’t see how art as a career would be able to feed my family. So I chased every dream except the one that my soul was longing for, which was authentic creative expression. Now I am five years into tattooing and I see every day as a blessing and I am also able to feed my family with art” - Squiggs The Artist
